What You’ll Do
- Write fan-driven NHL content centered on the team(s) you follow most closely
- Pitch article ideas before drafting to avoid topic conflicts with other contributors
- Publish on a consistent cadence, with flexibility to write more to increase earnings
- Explore your writing voice and test different angles, formats, and approaches
- Contribute to game coverage, news reaction, analysis, features, and season storylines
What You Need
- Strong knowledge of an NHL team (FanSided is actively seeking coverage for multiple teams and will consider other proposals)
- Ability to pitch clear article ideas before writing
- Ability to write at least 1 article per calendar month
- Comfort writing in a fan-first style while still being clear, accurate, and engaging
- Reliability and follow-through to meet your own posting commitments
