Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring the efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. As a key member of the operations team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Develop, implement, and oversee the entire supply chain process, including warehousing, inventory management, and distribution of goods.
  • Logistics Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and automation strategies to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with logistics service providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain optimal stock levels, forecast future needs, and implement strategies to minimize wastage and ensure timely product availability.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with local and international regulations, including customs requirements, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Data & Reporting: Analyze logistics data, prepare reports on key performance metrics (KPIs), and present recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis and logistics operations, preferably in both domestic and international environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with logistics suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and ability to work closely with regulatory and international trade compliance colleagues to ensure smooth flow of transport.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
