Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marine & RV Dealer Relationship Manager to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This position is fully remote, requiring you to work normal business hours during Pacific Standard Time (8:30 am – 5:30 pm PST).

Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively engage with potential and existing Marine and RV dealer and broker clients to enhance productivity and profitability in lending and non-lending relationships.
  • Provide high touch personal service and extensive availability to dealer and broker clients, documenting sales calls weekly in Salesforce.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve, maintain, and reward existing dealer/broker client relationships.
  • Meet or exceed production goals for the assigned territory.
  • Utilize existing sales and service reports to understand current dealer/broker metrics.
  • Implement the Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) strategy for existing dealer and broker clients.
  • Work with appropriate banking network personnel to enhance productivity and profitability of the relationships.
  • Qualify and recruit new dealers and brokers through prospecting efforts.
  • Facilitate new dealer/broker client sign-ups by acquiring all required documentation and providing personalized onboarding/training.
  • Monitor competitive market analysis data for the assigned territory and report to Marine and RV Senior Management.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding the establishment of a priority lien position on collateral.
  • Implement educational or corrective action where necessary regarding lien perfection, chargeback, and rebate collections.
  • Stay updated on peer and industry developments related to economic, legal, business, and general market issues impacting lending institutions, dealers, brokers, manufacturers, clients, and collateral.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent education and related training/experience.
  • Five years of experience in Marine and/or RV indirect/direct sales or comparable experience in indirect/direct lending with a demonstrated capacity to develop strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of the Marine and RV industry.
  • Capacity to build profitable client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and clients.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on quality sales presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • Good knowledge of bank operations, systems, compliance, and regulatory issues.
  • Background in Finance and Insurance financing.
  • Completion or enrollment in an established management or career development program such as a Leadership Development Program or a Banking School.

Working Conditions

  • Sitting: Frequently (25% – 50% of the time)
  • Standing: Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time)
  • Walking: Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time)
  • Visual/Audio/Speaking: Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
  • Manual Dexterity/Keyboarding: Able to work with standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
  • Availability: Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
  • Travel: Up to 75%
